Stained and Leaded Glass Windows:
Are often neglected , for decades at the time.
Whether it’s in a church, or a synagogue.
In traditional architectural old buildings, or as found in an old house; a Tudor, Victorian, or Mediterranean style houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Broken glass panes, and deteriorated leaded panels require special care and
maintenance. These services will be best provided by a qualified craftsman specialized in the field , or a glass studio shop , and artist who can be capable
To address any problem, or issue related to stained and leaded glass windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The intricacy of the work may vary from basic divide-lights of leaded glass panes. Clear , or colored glass pieces, or as a more elaborate window designs that may include glass painting , decorative, architectural, heraldic, allegoric motifs, and art works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actual window frames will also require the expertise of an experienced wood worker, and craftsman. These old frames are more frequently, and often replaced by General contractors. Using window replacements from commercial manufactures made to fit the overall window frame sizes. Transferring the existing old leaded glass panels could be an issue. Especially when the glass sizes are not compatible. Adequate custom made windows , or doors may be the best option. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usually, an old house may have had more than one owner during, and over a time period. Some of them would probably had some work done on the windows.
At one point, or another, one will have to pay for some repairs, restorations , or replacements of windows. And it will require special services, or specialty work expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easily avoided during the open house. The charming looks can easily overshadow the actual condition, and efficiency of windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lack of maintenance , repairs , and neglected restorations passed on from one previous house owner to another. Old window conditions are often overseeing.
If the house is for sale, broken glass panes, and any obvious sign of disrepair on the windows, could be a clear sign of poor window condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If addressed at all by the realtor, or the present owner of the house. It will most likely be addressed to a very minimum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost , pricing , planing , and timing for some of these needed services will usually be subject to much review, discussions , and debates by the owners of the property. Debates and arguments could be going on, some times , for decades at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Stained and leaded windows are liked , and admired by many.
Understood, and appreciated as a technique , and as an art form by very few. Misunderstood by most people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My mom just came to visit , she needs special care. ..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014Honey, relax , let’s do some prayers..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe day it’s almost gone, complaining won’t do good,
but make me feel despair…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don’t need to keep it , there’s no need to rage. \u2026
Throw It , give it away,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t hurt others, or yourself . ..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No ! , don’t sue your lawyer\u2026 !
It’s none sense , there’s no debate ,
it’s just a stained glass window, and not your 401k !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not morals , not virtues , not human rights , or civil claims ,
You won’t need a tissue ! , the world won’t cry and please you !
She might as well just leave you ,
Your wife is not the issue\u2014or is she ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But just because ,
\u2018It’s Beautiful and bright .. ! , could bring joy.. , could make cry.. ,
Its light \u2026 , and I delight ! \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crack a joke , take a breath , think it twice !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t blame the house , the architect , the craftsman , or letters in the mail..
The marriage , the girl friend !

Don’t cry , or even pray,
It’s just a stained glass window that\u2019s old , it broke , and needs repair..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
